Commissioned by Sony Germany with the goal of showcasing the sharpness and reliability of their Sony FE 100-400mm F4.5-5.6 G Master Super-Telephoto Zoom Lens. To achieve that goal, I traveled to Hong Kong, which is well known for its density in architecture and public transport.
Iconic trams traverse the winding streets of HK Island. Witness a breathtaking sunset from the Kowloon harbor, followed by the vibrant atmosphere of the Temple Street Night Market and the majestic skyline of Hong Kong, photographed from the Victoria Peak. Embark on a visual adventure through the diversity of this city.
These magical moments were captured with the Sony FE 100-400mm F4.5-5.6 G Master Super-Telephoto Zoom Lens. The photos shine with extraordinary sharpness and detail. The fast, precise autofocus ensures reliability in every shot, and thanks to Sony’s cross-compatible E-Mount System, it offers flexibility for various photographic scenarios.
Chasing the Light: One day in Bangkok
I also tested the Sony telephoto lens in Thailand’s capital of Bangkok. This time around I focussed on capturing different lights throughout the trip from sunrise to sunset.
The morning begins with a pastel sky over Phra Nakhon, as the city awakens under a canvas of gentle colors. Moving through the streets, gaze upon the iconic MahaNakhon skyscraper bathed in golden light. The blue daytime sky behind the Bhumibol Bridge showcases Bangkok’s blend of modern and traditional architecture. I spend the sunset at Wat Arun Temple, where the sun bids farewell behind this ancient wonder. Capturing the last light of the day in Silom.
